Of course, remembering to donate on every giving day or to every Facebook fundraiser sent to you can be a little overwhelming. Sometimes, charitable giving doesn’t always fit in your budget or in your busy schedule.

But, what if there was a way for you to give without thinking about it? A way for you to give almost every day even? Now, with Spare Change, you can. 

When you sign up for Spare Change, you’re doing exactly that — donating your spare change. With every swipe, your transactions are rounded up to the nearest dollar and the difference is donated. For example, if your morning cup of coffee is $4.54, the remaining $.46 is donated to the Epilepsy Foundation Central & South Texas.

Donating your spare change is easy and impactful:

  • You’ll receive monthly statements to keep track of your contributions
  • You can set a monthly limit to your donations if you’d like (e.g. You can set a limit of $30 a month)
  • You can pause donations at any time

When enrolled, your roundups are tallied until they reach $5, at which point a donation is triggered. This way your bank statement isn’t overwhelmed with micro-charges.
