Since 2002, Kim has provided education and support to persons with epilepsy. Before her current role, she served as the Program Director and Clinic Director of the Epilepsy Clinic Program. Throughout her tenure, she has developed many of the programs and services that are still in existence today. She enjoys her role as the Camp Brainstorm nurse! She received a nursing degree from Temple College and has three decades of experience in direct patient care. Kim advocates for persons with epilepsy at the state and federal levels and serves on local, state, and national committees to ensure persons with epilepsy have a voice. Kim is a Certified Facilitator for Managing Epilepsy Well self-managment programs - PACES, UPLIFT, SMART - and is a Certified Cognitive Coach to deliver HOBSCOTCH. She is also a trained leader to deliver the Chronic Disease Self Management Program. Kim’s infectious passion and enthusiasm for those with epilepsy, coupled with programmatic experience, have resulted in successful training outcomes and collaborative partnerships for EFCST. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and furbabies.
