🏕️ Camp Brainstorm was a HUGE SUCCESS
Last week was full of fun, new friendships, unforgettable experiences—and yes, a few happy tears on the final day. 💜
We laughed, we learned, we tried new things—and of course, we made sure to snap a group photo before saying goodbye!

📢 Legislative Update for the Epilepsy Community
On Sunday, June 22, Governor Greg Abbott vetoed SB 3—a bill that would have banned consumable hemp products, including certain CBD products. We at the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas celebrate this veto and sincerely thank everyone who spoke up and reached out to policymakers. Your voices made a difference. 💜
But the fight isn’t over. A special legislative session begins July 21, and it will be crucial for the epilepsy community to stay engaged. Many individuals with epilepsy benefit from access to CBD products—whether through consumable hemp, the Compassionate Use Program, or FDA-approved Epidiolex.
Let’s keep working together to protect safe, legal access to the options that help our community.
🤝 Support Groups Return in July!
You are not alone. Our support groups are back starting next month—whether you’re living with epilepsy or caring for someone who is. Join a group near you across Central and South Texas, or connect virtually from wherever you are.
